Our review of the Bizarre Bath Tour

People come to The Bird, Bath to enjoy the beauty of Bath and everything our wonderful hotel has to offer. As you’d imagine, our reception team often get asked about the best things to see and do and we try to base our recommendations on first hand experience. So when members of our reception team were invited to enjoy ‘Bizarre Bath - The Comedy Walk’ they jumped at the chance.  Here’s their report…

“Bizarre Bath leaves the Huntsman Inn, North Parade Passage, every evening at 8pm - just a 10 minute stroll from The County. You don’t have to book, you just turn up, and we were greeted by Noel in his distinctive purple jacket. He’s a fantastic guide but this isn’t a historical tour, it’s a side-splitting wander around some beautiful parts of our city.

This walk attracts tourists from all over the world of all ages. The entertainment lasts approximately 90 minutes but don't worry, you won’t be walking for all that time. But it’s still advisable to wear comfy shoes and be aware of some steep steps along the way. Much of Noel’s routine is improvised depending on the size of the group and where the group members are from so everyone gets involved with the entertainment. There’s crowd participation throughout the walk (please don’t let this put you off!) as Noel performs his hilarious act. This is a brilliant way to see Bath city centre, have a great time and meet new people.  A truly one-off experience, so thank you Noel!”
