The Iron Age fort on Little Solsbury Hill offers the perfect vantage point for spectacular views over Bath.The starting point of the walk being less than a 5 minute walk from The Bird, Bath onto Bathwick Hill.
Join The Mayor of Bath's Corps of Honorary Guides to take a wonderful 2 hour walk around Bath. Learn some amazing facts and interesting stories from the guides whose knowledge of Bath is impeccable. These tours are free of charge and take place Sunday to Friday - 10.30am and 2pm and Saturday - 10.30am only. As far as anyone can remember the walks have only been cancelled twice. In 1981 a spell of alternate thaw and freezing left the ground too treacherous to walk on. In 1996 a hurricane force wind blew through the city uprooting trees and causing chaos and the walk was again cancelled as it was felt it was too dangerous.
