Coronavirus update

With effect from Saturday 21st March 2020, The Bird, Bath is temporarily closed to ensure the safety of our team members and would-be guests, and to wholeheartedly support the country’s collective effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Please take a moment to read the below if you have any queries, particularly with regard to any existing bookings.

If you are able to bear with us and allow us to contact you, we would be very grateful, as it will ensure our phone lines are free to make the necessary outgoing calls to put everyone’s mind at ease as soon as we can. If you have any queries regarding making a new booking, please email us on reservations@thebirdbath.co.uk and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible, or, alternatively, you can still book via our website for future dates. Thank you for understanding.

HAVE A ROOM BOOKING?

If you have booked one of our unique nests for the coming weeks, please bear with us, as we'll be in touch with everyone as soon as we can. You can rest assured that we’re more than happy to be flexible on our usual booking conditions:

* If you initially booked on a prepaid, non-transferable basis, we’ll get you booked in for an alternative date. The full monetary value can be used as credit against a future stay and any difference in price of the new date can be put against any extras if less, or can be settled on arrival if more.
* For anyone who booked on a flexible rate, the above can also apply, or a full refund can be given, whichever you’d prefer.

HAVE AN EVENT BOOKING?

We will be contacting all guests (if we haven't already), that have an event booked with us in April or May as these will unfortunately not be able to go ahead. Any payments already received will be refunded and if we can help in the future when you are looking to re-arrange, we'd be delighted. Any bookings for June onward will be considered in due course and guests contacted if need be.

HAVE A GIFT VOUCHER?

Any vouchers due to expire between 1st March and 31st December 2020 may now redeemed until 31st March 2021. There is no need to get in touch to let us know you have one, simply mention it when you book your stay, bring the voucher with you, and we’ll do the rest.

THINKING ABOUT TWEETING SOMEONE TO A VOUCHER?

During these uncertain times, a voucher can be a great way to give a loved one, (or yourself!,) something to look forward to when we are able to re-open. All our vouchers will now be valid for 18 months from the date of purchase, to ensure there’s plenty of time to come and stay.

WANT TO BOOK A FUTURE NEST?

We’re remaining chirpy, so you are still able to make a flexible booking from June onwards. This may prove to be a touch optimistic, but we’re staying hopeful, and these bookings can be cancelled with just 48 hours’ notice. You can book online or click here to make an enquiry.
