We're delighted to have partnered with the team at Bath Festivals to bring you some fantastic author events this May. From lunch with the golden girl of Middle Eastern cookery, Sabrina Ghayour to dinner and fizz with Olly Smith, resident drinks host on BBC1's Saturday Kitchen, and an introduction to travel writing with the former editor of Traveller magazine, Jonathan Lorie, it's a wonderfully vibrant line-up you won't want to miss...

Lunch with Sabrina Ghayour

Monday 20th May, 12noon-3pm(ish) 

To celebrate the launch of Bazaar, a cookery book packed with delicious new vegetarian recipes from the bestselling Middle Eastern chef and well-known personality Sabrina Ghayour, we’re hosting a meet-the-author lunch at The Bird, Bath, 12noon-3pm.

£49 to include a glass of fizz on arrival, a two-course lunch with a glass of wine, coffee and a copy of Sabrina’s latest book Bazaar.


Travel writing with Jonathan Lorie

Tuesday 21st May, 2-4.30pm

Spend an afternoon immersed in the delights of travel writing and how to turn your own travels into stories, whether for publication or just for fun. Top travel writer and travel writing tutor Jonathan Lorie will share insider's tips, examples from much-loved authors and some hands-on learning in a two-hour interactive workshop.
