Leon Smith is at the helm of our kitchen, providing stylish, tasty dishes having hand-sourced the very best ingredients from local farmers and fishermen, meeting with each and visiting regularly as part of his determination to create a showcase of food heroes.

Guests will be able to enjoy tender beef and lamb sourced from the team at family-owned Beeswax Dyson, less than five miles from The Bird, organic eggs collected from Neston’s New Macdonalds Farm and rainbow platefuls of vegetables, grown with care by fifth-generation farmers at Lovejoys.

To complement, our very quaffable wine list has a very tempting range of wines by the glass, supplied by Bath-based The Great Wine Co.
